Join fashion designer and 3-D printing expert Danit Peleg to discuss the advancements of the young, innovative and unpredictable cross-section of fashion and tech — and where she believes it’s heading. In this conversational presentation, Peleg will take the audience through her journey in this rising field, what she is doing to develop the technology further and how it all started three years ago when she designed the world’s first 3-D-printed fashion collection produced entirely from home.

Danit Peleg will share personal insights and anecdotes on how she became a pioneer in 3D printed fashion, launching the world’s first fashion collection to be entirely created by 3D printers for her graduate project at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. She will also talk about the potential of 3D printing in fashion to reduce environmental waste and pollution.

Danit will also discuss her thoughts on where she thinks this incredible technology is heading in the future, and how absolutely anyone can play a part in this ongoing fashion revolution.

In this lecture, Danit speaks about her journey in the world of 3D printed fashion and highlights the massive waste and pollution problem of the fashion industry, and explains why she believes that 3D printed fashion can lead the way in creating a world of zero waste and circular economy.
